Sunbeams

Sunbeams specialises in transforming dark, dated wooden beams, helping restore their appearance while preserving the natural texture and character of the timber. Using specialist coatings and a carefully developed hand-finishing technique, the team gently lightens and refreshes exposed beams without sanding, stripping or machinery.

This approach allows the original grain, form and character of the wood to remain visible, creating a brighter, more refined finish that suits characterful homes and traditional interiors. Rather than covering up the timber's natural beauty, Sunbeams works to bring it back to life.

Based in the Dordogne area, Sunbeams serves homeowners across locations including Bergerac, Périgueux, Sarlat, Eymet and Villeréal. The business also lists painting, minor finishing work, makeovers, home staging and advice among its services. For homeowners looking to refresh their interiors while retaining the character of their property, Sunbeams offers a specialist approach to beam restoration and enhancement.
